Biography

Robert (Bob) S. Seiner is President and Principal of KIK Consulting & Educational Services and Publisher-Emeritus of The Data Administration Newsletter (TDAN.com), which he has published since 1997. He is the creator of the Non-Invasive Data Governance™ approach, which focuses on formalizing the accountability people already have for data rather than imposing new roles and processes on them, and author of the NIDG trilogy, including the bestselling Non-Invasive Data Governance: The Path of Least Resistance and Greatest Success (2014) and Non-Invasive Data Governance Strikes Again (2023). Since 2012 he has hosted the monthly Real-World Data Governance webinar series with Dataversity, and he serves as Adjunct Faculty and Instructor in Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College Chief Data and AI Officer certificate program.
